Projector Lifting Service Ltd: nearly four decades of heavy lifting, now with communications to match

Adam Rogers and Duncan Rogers have been running Projector Lifting Service Ltd since 1988, providing machine removal and hydraulic gantry lift services. Their passion for the industry has seen them work with businesses like Rolls-Royce, British Airways, Guinness, Nissan and Toshiba.

With demand for their specialist services came a need for robust fibre broadband and a hosted telephone system. This week we installed a new hosted telephone system — enabling them to take calls from anywhere — alongside a direct fibre internet connection, so they can keep up with the data-hungry world we now live in.

When your work involves moving machinery for some of the biggest names in British industry, missed calls and slow internet aren't an option. Now their communications are as dependable as their lifting gear.

How a typical move to Flow works

Every business is different, but most moves to hosted telephony follow the same shape. Here's what working with DragTech looks like, step by step.

    1. We listen first

Every move starts with a conversation about how your business actually handles calls — who answers, what happens when you're busy, and what your customers expect when they ring.

    2. We plan around your numbers

Your existing phone numbers are ported across, and your old lines stay live until the new system is proven. There's no gap where customers can't reach you.

    3. We set up call routing that fits

Opening hours, teams, voicemail, recordings and transcripts — configured the way your business works, not a one-size-fits-all template.

    4. We stay on the end of the phone

After switch-over you deal with real people who know your setup. No ticket queues, no call centres abroad — just straightforward support.

What businesses tell us matters most

    • Keeping their existing phone numbers with no downtime
    • Calls reaching the right person first time, even out of hours
    • Call recordings and AI transcripts for training and disputes
    • One point of contact for phones, broadband and mobile
    • Straight answers on cost — no surprise line items

    Your story could be here

We're collecting stories from the businesses we work with — what prompted the move, what changed, and what they'd tell another business owner considering the same step. If you're a DragTech customer and happy to share yours, we'd love to hear it.
